Hip Hop as a culture has a God complex.
Algorithms and gatekeepers decide who's annointed and exalted yet the talent pool is extremely shallow.
God has been almost removed from the music.
This has nothing to do with religion...for God is love. Where's the love?

This album was inspired by my travels across the country and the 1973 film version of Jesus Christ Superstar. We're all in search of saviors for the art. The title was also created to antagonize. People have already formed an opinion of me as a man and an artist so here's one big kiss.

Also note that the sonic direction of this album was meant intentionally to capture the artist in his rawest form. May you find God in the sound.
